Attendance and social development is important for ALL John Adams
students, including preschool, Transitional Kindergarten, and
Kindergarten students. RUSD's LCAP Goal 3 is to "Fully engage students,
parents and the community in support of short and long term educational
outcomes." One of those outcomes is to increase positive attendance.
Here at John Adams we celebrate every month the top three classes with
highest attendance. In addition, we celebrate every two months
individual students with perfect attendance with a special lunch event.
At the end of the year, all students with perfect attendance will be
recognized at our assemblies and awarded with a special gift. Please
remember that it takes your support to achieve our LCAP goal 3 outcome
of increasing positive attendance. We know many of our parents are
working and have other children at different schools. But please make a
strong effort to have your child at school before 8:30 am. Our line up
bell rings at 8:30 and instruction begins at 8:35. Children are
welcome to be dropped off by 8:00 am and breakfast is available at that
time.
